Lessons:

You will be working towards the BPEC Level 3 Award in Installation and Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems.

You should have a minimum level 2/3 NVQ in plumbing or conventional heating engineering, or a demonstratable number of years of relevant experience, qualifications in Water Regulations and Energy Efficiency would be an advantage.

This course will cover:

  • Understanding on how the ground and air can act as a source of renewable energy.
  • A clear understanding of the main elements of heat pumps.
  • Understand the advantages of the various collector types and emitter types with heat pumps.
  • Clear identification of applications for various heat pump systems.
  • You will be provided with a course manual to support your studies.

If you meet the funding criteria, then your course will be fully funded.

Funding criteria:

  • A resident in the Greater Manchester area
  • Working for an employer based in the Greater Manchester area
  • Working on a construction setting in the Greater Manchester area
